El Encanto is owned and operated by artist James Vitale. He has skills in art, teaching,
construction, business, massage, cooking, and costuming, and has created
a unique retreat amidst the wilds of rural Mexico.
His interests include sustainable living, maintaining environmental integrity in daily operations, and promoting art and culture in the region.
Come share our vision and help make El Encanto a vibrant center for
creativity and education. We invite anyone who will encourage the sane and
conscious development of this relatively vulnerable piece of paradise. By
collective example, it is El Encanto's goal to bring about a positive transition
